You have a few options:

1. Look up an industrial composter in your area that can take this packaging. Or, if you're lucky enough to live in a city that collects residential compost, find out if you can put the packaging in your bin.

2. Put it in a home compost bin. Be prepared for it to take a while to break down.

3. Composting is not an option for ya? Go ahead and toss it. Yeah, it’s a bummer to send things to the landfill. We get it. This packaging started its life primarily from wood cellulose and bio-resins. That means we haven’t contributed to the use of petroleum in packaging and at least this item won’t add more toxic microplastics to the planet.
